The Outdoor Church’s longest-running worship service takes place every Sunday at 9 a.m. in front of the Porter Square T Station.

All people are welcome to participate in all parts of the Outdoor Church’s worship.

Our service is loosely based on the Book of Common Prayer and incorporates other prayers that have particular meaning for our community.

Each week, we have a different reading from scripture. Rather than one of our ministers giving a sermon, the community is invited to share their thoughts and reflections on the day’s gospel text.

After the reflection, the community is invited to share their joys and concerns. We then celebrate communion.

Like any other church, our worship is followed by a coffee hour. In addition to coffee and donuts, we offer a generous bag lunch, which includes sandwiches, socks, and toiletry kits.

We love to have individuals and groups join us for worship. We also gladly welcome donations of sandwiches or coffee and donuts. Please fill out the form below so we can plan for you!
